What a wonderful 3 days we spent at the Higgens Beach Inn!
Our room was small but comfortable (especially the bed!). The beach is no more than a few minutes walk from the inn.
Our breakfasts were included in in the room rate and they were delicious! I loved being able to order just what I wanted. We also loved that freshly made muffins, cookies and coffee were available over the course of the day.
It was the staff who really put the Inn over the top. They were warm and welcoming and did everything to make our stay special.
We wish that they were open year round but we will wait for spring and be back for sure!
Loved the quaint New England charm of this historic hotel. All the staff we dealt with at both the hotel and the restaurant were above and beyond friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant twice. I had fresh scallops that were superb. The beach is a short and pleasant walk.
Quite old: no closets, no desk. I often work when I travel and this was not conducive to that. TV had about 4 channels. No streaming available. Service in the restaurant was not consistent and a bit chaotic. Had to get our own drinks …
My stay at Higgins Beach Inn was an exceptional one. Despite our late arrival, we were greeted warmly and sent to a nice, comfy room that was a great nights sleep. The following morning we had a great breakfast at their in-house restaurant. A great place to stay with coastal charm!
The Higgins Beach Inn is a wonderful place to stay. Old historic building, super nice staff, and the breakfast that comes with the room is fantastic. They even provide chairs, beach towels, etc for a visit to the excellent beach only a block away. Will definitely stay again if ever in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days at Higgins Beach Inn. Great room. Good service and the restaurant was top notch for both breakfast and dinner. I enjoyed sunrise walks on the beach and on the one cloudy day, I walked a lot of side roads to get a feel of the charming neighborhood. Great place to stay.
